Actor Biography
Stephen Conrad Moore grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, the youngest of four children to a school teacher and a pastor, who both immigrated to America from Jamaica.
Stephen earned a double Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre from University of Missouri, Kansas City, and graduated from The Yale School of Drama with his Masters in Fine Arts. While at Yale, Stephen was honored to be a part of August Wilson's last creation, "Radio Golf" at Yale Repertory Theatre.
Stephen has performed at some of the country's most prestigious regional theaters but is very proud to call New York City his home. Moore's TV credits include recurring roles on Fox's "Empire" and Hulu's "The Path"; and guest-starring roles on NBC's "The Blacklist," "Chicago PD," and CBS's "The Good Fight." Most recently, Stephen was seen in the feature film "Saturday Church."
Moore can currently be seen playing Oliver Grayson on Freeform's "The Bold Type."
As an artist, he is committed to empowering others through the representation of stories that are not often told and is an advocate for increased visibility of people from a diverse pool of colors, ages, sexual identities and walks of life.
